Creative Assignment #5 – Fashion

This was probably my favorite set set of photoshoots since this is the type of genre I’m most passionate about when it comes to Photography. All the outfits except for Stacy’s (green dress) and Jay (the only guy) were designed by Sarah Bourne! I have to say that I really love her work. Anyways here is my Flickr slideshow which is only a little taste of what I shot for this assignment.

Creative Assignment #3 – On the Other Side

So for this assignment I decided to photograph another photographer I know, Stacy. I feel it is an interesting experience to photograph someone who is used to being behind the camera instead of in front of it. From my experience most photographers I’ve worked with before do not like to have their own photograph taken, myself included. But, I think it’s important at one point or another to be the subject of someone else’s photo shoot so we as a photographer can relate more to our models and how they might feel. Creative Assignment #2 – ついに…

ついに…in the end it’s all the same. People, houses, trees, everything around us beings to wear out…疲れさせる, break down…精神的に参る, and die…死ぬ. For my second assignment in Creative Photography it was an open topic so I decided to let what I was feeling come out. Maybe to some it’s a little strong and maybe to others they don’t see the connection with the photographs. But for once photographing with my emotions, 感情, seems to have let me release part of myself which I’ve been holding back for so long. A part of me that wants to admit that everything around me is slowly falling apart; even possibly 私. リンクは私のスライドショーにここにある

Upside down Reflection

I did this photo shoot for Materials and Processes specifically for my mom. I hadn’t shot anything special for her like I had my dad so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to use vases she had given her grandmother and the antique mirror she was given by her grandfather since the theme of the assignment was upside down reflection. I tried out a lot of different effects in Lightroom trying to find the perfect photo and I ended up with a lot of photographs that I liked.
